Thanks!

We had a fantastic concert in the Buckley Cross Methodist Church together with the fabulous Buckley Singers. Our thanks go out:

  • to the management team in the Church for accommodating us, and also laying on refreshments
  • The Buckley Singers – for joining us, and helping to make the evening memorable.
  • Guest performers – stepping in to help us. The sound would have been very different without them – we are grateful!

More Musicians Wanted!

  • Do you play an instrument, or have you played on in the past?
  • Are you grade 3 (ish) or better?
  • Are you free on a Monday evening?

We would like more musicians in the band, and have openings across the full range of instruments. If you are interested in playing, we also have some band instruments we can loan out, so you don’t need to be constrained by having to make a financial commitment before you can play.

You are more than welcome to come and join us at a rehearsal – just turn up, or give Alan, our musical director, a call before hand. We don’t expect you to join as a member immediately – you can join for some rehearsals before committing. The grade 3 level is not a formal requirement! Talk to Alan for a more nuanced opinion.

We are a community band, here to enable people from the community to make music, and also to support the local community with live music.
